Traditional Art
Most works here are created through traditional means, such as charcoal drawings, or various forms of printmaking (etching, screenprint, linocut, etc.)
Void Instabook & Box
This project was created using a laser cutter for the box, and a variety of printmaking methods for the swirling book within it. It features massive and mysterious creatures I designed, my intent being to have the audience question whether these creatures are in the depths of the ocean, or deep space.
Various Prints
These are a variety of prints I drew and crafted through different kinds of printmaking means, some of which used multiple techniques which others were more specific. The types of printmaking you may notice is:
-
Etching (Carving in a copper plate)
-
Lithography (Drawing onto a limestone)
-
Linocut (Carving into a piece of linoleum)
-
Screenprint (Pulling ink through stencils)
Drawings
These are drawings I created using charcoal. These pieces all used references and still-lives, some acting as a drawn copy of the reference, and others drawing inspiration from the references.
